Setback on July Reunion - 2007/01/24 02:20
Sparky's/Broadway Pub will not be able to host us as they will not get their liquor license transferred to their new location by July. Paul Broadway said he would look around for another pub we could use. Granted, we don't HAVE to have liquor on site, but would be a better thing!
So, I shall check around for a venue here in SD and costs involved. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know!

Hey. as per the home page I am all about the July 21st date for the reunion. I turn 40 a couple days before and would love to be celebrating my birthday in San Diego. Are you going to decide on the date... are you going to take a vote? I think you should just decide since you are doing all the work.

As I said on the home page, I'm all over the 21st as the date, but wanted to be diplomatic and give the option of the 7th, but feel that the 21st will win out.
It would be cool to have it be a natal day celebration as well, and you've been the most "vocal" supporter of the SD reunion and to get something nailed down.

I am all about not talking it up until we decide on the 21st. Then I will email all the ones I know of and just tell them the date. But thats just me...Your vocal loyal supporter of a reunion.

Hey why not use the Midway. The ship is now on display and they may have something we could use. We worked on her in Japan on the 85 pac.

July Reunion - I need input - 2007/03/10 13:39
Okay folks, reunion is 21 July, but nobody has notifed me if they want rooms at the Marriott - let me know by the end of the month would you please?
As for using the Midway, well, yeah, we could, but I don't have a head count yet, have very little input from you all on desires for activities/venue. I'm open, but time is zipping by and I need input.
Personally, I'm for renting space in a downtown bar for the evening of July 21st.
What I need:
1. Headcount - how many will be here?
2. Activities - what do you want to do?
3. I'd like everyone's input no later than 15 April.
