ACADIA REUNION, SAN DIEGO, JULY 2006 - 2006/12/07 02:48
Okay shipmates, you asked for it, we're working toward it, a reunion here in SD for July. I'll be getting with Paul Broadway of Spanky's Broadway Pub in January, as he's relocating the bar to National City and will firm up details for a date.
I am reunion-challenged, so any input is welcome.
If you need any info on the area, hotels, rates, etc, let me know.
I will ping my neighbor who works for Sheraton to see if we can get a decent room rate if anyone is interested.
All ideas welcome!

I would be interested in quotes on rooms and if you could send me info as soon as you get some as to exact dates of the reunion. I need to take off work as far in advance as possible. I am very interested in having a reunion this summer. Lydia

I talked with Paul Broadway of the Broadway Pub and he is currently looking to secure a new pub location and will contact me when he knows for sure where that next location will be.
Once I know the location and get a bead on a date in July he can host, I will post all the information, we can figure out how many are interested, how many rooms might be needed and work from there.
More as I know it.

Cancelling the 21 July San Diego Acadia Reunion - 2007/03/26 13:52
Only two shipmates responded since I posted notice of the SD Reunion on the home page and in the discussion pages.
Due to severe lack of interest, the San Diego reunion is hereby cancelled. Mike will be posting the same info on the home page.
So, the two of you who contacted me, Geraldo and David, thanks. Let's get together sometime shall we?
I'd better not hear that this is messing up someones plans, as I'd heard zilch from any out of towners since the 21 July was decided upon in late February.
