Hello to my fellow Acadians,
Glad to see theres a reunion for the her. Plank owner, haven't seen to many from the time i was on her, but hey, I'll chat with whoever wants to. Loved the military and the times on the Acadia. WestPac 83, Hawaii, Diego Garcia, too many to count. Get in touch if you want to chat. Have a safe new year.

I was on the Acadia from 1981 to 1986. I was in Pearl Harbor last December and the Acadia is there in mothballs. I took a few pictures of her through a chainlink fence. That section of the base was closed so I was not able to get closer to her. If anyone would like those pictures post a reply and I will get them to you.

Acadia Reunion is being planned for July 2007 here in San Diego, I won't be able to nail down specifics until the first week of January, 2007.
